President Shane Moorhead prepares the recently acquired OTHR 50 Tonne Crane for a lift of some old rail sections at the fettler's camp site during the November work session. Having some machinery on hand has improved our ability to handle larger work. We expect to use the crane to arrange delivery of some expected rolling stock in the not too distant future.

The photo below shows our "Bobcat" ready for work in speeding up the insertion of sleepers.

(actually, I cannot tell a fib - both the above photos have been "doctored" with a little digital enhancement. The crane was generously provided by Moorhead engineering and the Bobcat was kindly loaned by the Rail Transport Museum and has been a wonderful asset.
