President OTHR
When you want a job done, ask a busy man. OTHR's President, Shane Moorhead fits that description perfectly.

Rick Fletcher (added 2007)
Special Projects & Webmanager OTHR
Rick's interest in the Oberon to Tarana railway's restoration was initially stimulated by a proposal to remove the track and infrastructure to make way for a rail trail. Concerned that the region would be losing an important item of rail heritage, Rick worked hard with a group of local people with similar views to establish OTHR.

Peter Culley (added 2007)
Trackmanager OTHR
Peter toils away constantly on the track restoration tasks and comes up with lots of new ideas to make the job quicker and easier for our volunteers. He sets a cracking pace with his early morning starts during the working bees and it isn't unusual to see him working out on the line or at the shipping container on any day of the week.
Many thanks to Peter for his good humour, dedication to the cause and willingness to put in the long hours to get the job done.

Dale Adamski (added October 2009)
Fettler OTHR
Dale who has been a member of OTHR since 2007, lives at Avoca Beach where he grew up and attended nearby Kincumber High School. He works as a trade assistant in building switchboards and has taken holidays over the past few years to come and work on the line. At 22, Dale is our youngest active “fettler”. He has always been fascinated by trains and railways and years ago the Oberon Tarana line became his favourite with its unique features of steep grades, sharp curves and spectacular scenery. He has always been a fan of the 19 Class engines. Dale likes the friendly group of volunteers he works with and is impressed with the great community spirit in Oberon.
One of Dale's ambitions is to become a train driver. We hope he achieves this so that we can see him driving one of our trains in the next few years.
